An Impostor on Solomon’s Throne

 

The Qur’an proceeded to reveal a truly astonishing event in religious history, the likes of which one can hardly, if ever, find a parallel. The description of the event has led us to the view that Solomon had a vision from Allah Most High in which he saw that a soulless impostor would one day sit on his throne, and hence seek to establish a bogus State with a claim that he has restored Holy Israel; and it was precisely because of his knowledge of that ominous future event that he immediately made an extra-ordinary prayer to Allah Most High. Here are the two relevant verses of the Qur’an:

 (Qur’an, Sad, 38:34)

Allah Most High caused distress to Solomon when He placed upon his throne a Jasad, i.e., a human body without a soul; and when Solomon saw what was shown to him, he thereupon turned penitently towards Allah and made a prayer. 

 

In the very next verse of the Surah Allah Most High described Nabi Sulaiman’s response to the Jasad which he saw sitting on his throne:

(Qur’an, Sad, 38:35)

Solomon responded with the prayer that Allah Most High might forgive him his sins, and ordain that his Holy State of Israel could never belong to any after him: verily, Thou alone can grant such a thing.

 

Proper methodology for studying this subject, in order to understand and identify the Jasad, requires that these two verses be studied as a whole. It is indeed regrettable that Islamic scholars failed to apply proper methodology in their efforts to explain the Jasad and, as a consequence they have delivered very strange explanations of the subject. 

 

When the two verses are studied as a whole, the entirely plausible deduction can be derived that the human body that was devoid of a soul, and hence described as a Jasad, which was placed on Solomon’s throne, terrified him into making the prayer that he made because he could see that it would attempt to usurp his throne—which is his rule over Holy Israel, and to create an unholy State in the Holy Land—in Holy Israel’s name—that would seek to compare with Holy Israel. 

 

Our view, therefore, is that Nabi Sulaiman saw the Anti-Christ or Dajjal, the false Messiah, sitting on his throne in Jerusalem, with a mission of eventually ruling over a State of Israel that would claim to be Holy Israel, and hence he made the prayer to Allah Most High in order to ensure that such an effort should never succeed. The Jasad who was sitting on the throne was Dajjal!   

 

We can now recognize that Dajjal is not an angel, nor a Jinn, but, rather, a Jasad, i.e., a human body that is without a soul.

 

We do not know of anyone who has previously identified the Jasad of the Qur’an with Dajjal, and hence it is possible that such an identification has been made in this book for the first time. Since this is the most important of all our views presented in this book, our readers would naturally be interested in knowing what were the explanations and interpretations of the verse that were given in particular, by the classical commentators of the Qur’an. For this reason we have included a summary of those views in Appendix Two. 

 

Since this writer is of the view that Dajjal, or the AntiChrist, is the Jasad that Allah placed on Solomon’s throne, it would follow that he is a special one-of-a-kind created being who would appear as a human being because he has a human body, but who would not be a complete human being since he would be without a soul (Nafs). Since he does not possess a soul, he would not have a free will, or a self-directed-will, and hence he would not be responsible for his conduct. It would follow therefrom that he would not be judged on Judgment Day as would all other human beings. It may be difficult, if not impossible, for some readers to even understand, much less to eventually accept, this view of Dajjal expressed above.  Hence, we advise that such readers should move on with the subject and not allow this view of Dajjal to become a bone that sticks in the throat.

 

We need to make one more comment concerning the Jasad however, before we can move on with our subject.

 

If Dajjal is, indeed, a Jasad, i.e., a human body without a soul or spirit, then it would follow that Dajjal does not possess intrinsic intelligence. He does not, and cannot think for himself. Rather his intelligence and his process of thinking is externally programmed. He is similar to a robot, and we can thus better understand Dajjal, and sometimes even recognize his footprints, in whatever functions through artificial intelligence. Nowhere are the Dajjal’s footprints more visible today than in the world of money where real money in the form of gold and silver have been replaced by a monetary Jasad of artificial money.  This will be the subject of a subsequent book, Insha’ Allah.

 

The Qur’an went on to describe the success of that Jasad in getting the Jinn to continue to work for him and to serve him for long years while believing that they were working for Solomon. The explanation for Dajjal’s success in that act of deception is that, upon the death of Solomon, the Jinn saw only the Jasad sitting on the throne and holding on to Solomon’s staff, and assumed that it was Solomon. The Jinn were bonded to Sulaiman by divine decree, and hence did not have the freedom to observe what was occurring in the world (see Qur’an, Saba, 34:12–14). They were unaware that Sulaiman was dead and buried. They had no knowledge of Akhir al-Zaman and, as a consequence, there was no way that they could realize that they were working as slaves for an impostor. Thus the unholy State of Israel would receive the continuous support of the Jinn during the long struggle for its eventual creation, upon the birth of Israel, and all through its life, so long as Dajjal continued to sit on Solomon’s throne while holding on to his holy staff.

European Christians and European Jews forged a strange alliance through reconciling their hatred and hostility for each other. They have now embraced each other in mysterious mutual friendship and alliance. They have become the rulers of the whole world and they are an absolutely unique phenomenon in history. But they are a racially ominous world-order, ominous for non-Europeans in general and for Arabs and Muslims in particular, who dare to resist their racial jingoism, globalization, injustice and oppression. Their world-order waged relentless wars of aggression in order to occupy nearly all the non-European territories of the world. The world witnessed such ethnic cleansing in North America, Southern Africa and Australia etc., as could not have been perpetrated except by those who had hearts of beasts without as much as even a grain of a mustard seed of either Christian or Jewish faith in them. 

 

Judeo-Christian European colonial rule over the rest of the world was used to steal, plunder and exploit the wealth that belonged to the rest of mankind. But Judeo-Christian European colonization of the rest of the world had an agenda that transcended the exploitation of those territories for wealth. Rather, the ultimate agenda was that of putting political, economic, cultural and educational institutions in place through which the Judeo-Christian Europeans could continue to transform such colonial territories even after decolonization took place. The transformation was meant to secularize society through a process of dismantling all institutions which provided sustenance for the religious way of life in general and for the way of life of Islam in particular. 

 

Their secularism had already so transformed medieval Euro-Christendom that it became essentially godless and amazingly decadent modern secular civilization. But they pursued their sinister agenda with such powers of deception that ‘appearance’ and ‘reality’ have always been opposite to each other in everything they did and still do. Hence they succeeded in deceiving most of mankind to join with them in embracing godlessness and decadence.

 

They used their absolute power to corrupt, to oppress, and to engage in acts of injustice and wickedness unparalleled in history. Their wickedness and oppression is constantly escalating even as they offer public-relations apologies for European slavery. Even those European Christian and Jewish people who would live lives of piety, faith and righteousness and speak out against injustice and oppression were not spared. Former US President Jimmy Carter is now caricatured an “old fool”.  Jewish-Christian Western war crimes inflicted on Arab Muslim Iraq and Israeli genocide of Palestinian Muslims and Christians in Gazzah are worse than anything black Christian South Africa ever experienced during apartheid. 

 

Their greed is indescribable. They suck the wealth of all of mankind through legalized theft (otherwise known as inflation and as money-lending on interest) and even take from the poor the little they possess. Eventually they imprison all of mankind in a new economic slavery through Riba (usury). They lend huge sums of money on interest with the knowledge that the borrower would not be able to repay the loan with interest. They do so in order to gain a capacity for such financial blackmail that borrower nations eventually fall under their control. They also replace real-money with-intrinsic-value such as gold and silver coins, with nonredeemable paper currency, whose value is externally assigned and can be manipulated to their advantage. As paper-money fell in value, the masses around the world were reduced to miserable poverty while those who were already rich further enriched themselves at the expense of those who were so enslaved.   

 

Finally, they are a world-order that is strangely and mysteriously obsessed with liberating the Holy Land. Europe became Christian and then waged essentially European Holy Wars called ‘the Crusades’ for a thousand years until success was finally achieved, when a British army led by General Allenby defeated the Ottoman Islamic Empire’s army and triumphantly entered Jerusalem in 1917. Allenby then declared “today the crusades have ended”. He should have said “today the European Crusades have ended”. In fact, the European Crusades are still continuing and will not end so long as Muslims resist Judeo-Christian European oppression in the Holy Land and elsewhere in the world. 

 

Some Europeans also became Jewish and created the Euro-Jewish Zionist Movement, which then fanatically and pig-headedly pursued the goals of the Jewish return to the Holy Land and restoration of a State of Israel in that Holy Land. Those European Jews, natives of the Khazar tribes of Eastern Europe, were converts to Judaism. Europeans are not Semitic people, yet they successfully led the way, employing means more crooked than ever before, for the restoration of a State of Israel in the Holy Land. They used same means to literally force the semitic oriental (non-European) Israelite Jews, long residing in the Muslim world, to migrate to that secular State of Israel. They demonized all resistance to their oppression as anti-Semitism. The Judeo-Christian European world-order has protected and strengthened that Israel to such an extent that it has now become a superpower. Indeed it will soon become the ‘ruling state’ in the world.

 

Can all of this be an accident of history? Can it be something without meaning and explanation? If not, then what is that explanation?

 

There are scholars and writers who might obstinately shrug their shoulders and dismiss all of the above as mere chance. And there are others, who would be convinced by the evidence we present in this book derived from the blessed Qur’an as well as from the Ahadith of Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) that today’s strange and mysterious Judeo-Christian European world-order is the Gog and Magog world-order.

 

The evidence also reveals that Dajjal (the false Messiah or Anti-Christ) exploited the Zionist Jews and their Christian allies while defying every moral and religious law in order to pursue that ‘pig-headed’ effort to make Israel the ‘ruling state’ in the world. The effort was made while riding the back of the ‘Gog and Magog world-order’. At the end of it all that part of the Jewish world which persists in oppression and in ‘war on Islam’ will face the Messiah they had rejected and whose crucifixion they had demanded. At that time Allah Most High, who created Gog and Magog and gave to them their indestructible power, would Himself destroy an unjust Gog and Magog world-order. Prophet Muhammad (sallalahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) prophesied that an unstoppable Muslim army would then march to Jerusalem while liberating every occupied territory on its way.  The ‘Holy’ State of Israel will replace the present imposter, the ‘oppressors’ would be punished and history would thus end with the triumph of Truth over falsehood and of justice and freedom over oppression and slavery. 

 

This writer is confident that rapidly unfolding events in and around the Holy Land in particular would continuously validate the central thesis of this book and in doing so, invalidate the arguments raised by critics of that central thesis. 

 

In Surah al-Kahf of the Qur’an as well as in Prophetic commentary (Ahadith), Gog and Magog are described as two people who descended from father Adam (peace and blessings of Allah Most High be upon him). They were created by Allah Most High and endowed with great power. “None but I can destroy them”, said Allah Most High. Surah al-Kahf has described how they had to be contained behind an iron barrier because they were using their power to commit acts of Fasad (acts of wickedness, oppression corruption). The Surah also implied that they would use power to wage war on those who lived lives of faith and righteousness and that they would act malevolently against those who lived the primitive way of life or who eked out a bare subsistence living (as in Haiti, Somalia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Egypt, etc.). Thus the picture emerged of an absolutely godless and ruthless people who had the hearts of beasts. 

 

The Surah went on to inform that when the “warning of my Lord-God” came to pass (i.e. when the age of Fitan or Last Age would commence), “Allah will bring down or level the barrier” and Gog and Magog (who are a major sign of the Last Age) would be released into the world. Surah al-Anbiyah’ then revealed that they would eventually “spread out or unravel in every direction thus infiltrating all people” indicating that with an invincible power they would take control of the whole world and that, for the first time in history, one people would rule all of mankind. It also indicates that with their subtle infiltration they will transform or refashion all of mankind into carbon copies of themselves.

 

But since that world-order would witness oppression and war on religion, it would be in total conflict with the heavenly order above. No believer could possibly be comfortable with ‘mainstream society’ in such a world.

Inflation and riba

THE PROHIBITION OF RIBA IN THE QUR’AN AND SUNNAH

What misguided Muslims who use the inflation argument to justify riba should do, is to calculate the value, in gold, of the sum borrowed from a bank, then calculate the equivalent value, in gold of the sum which is to be repaid to the bank. If there is any difference between the two such that the sum to be repaid is greater than the sum borrowed, that would be evidence of the riba which Islam prohibits.

We may also note that when the Prophet (s) ordered gold for gold and equal for equal the implication is that the lender who lends 100 gold dinars in 1984 is entitled to the return, in 1994, of no more than the same 100 gold dinars (i.e. an equal amount of gold) from the borrower. But the value of one hundred gold dinars lent in 1989 may change by 1994 so relation to the quantity of wheat, for example, which can be bought with it. The price of wheat may increase by 1994 because of a shortage of wheat in the market. The same 100 gold dinars can no longer purchase in 1994 the amount of wheat which could have been bought in 1989. Despite that, the law would still remain unchanged; ‘gold for gold - equal for equal’! Finally it is time for us to understand that inflation is itself a form of riba. It is, in fact a creeping riba which robs us of our wealth without our being even aware of the fact that we are being robbed. The "smart-men’ in the economy, who know how to use the system for their advantage make windfall profits, through inflation. at the expense of the dumb innocent ‘suckers’ who keep on working harder and yet harder for less and less as artificial paper money continuously loses its value.

It is a matter of absolutely critical importance that Muslims should carefully study the prophecy of the Prophet (s) in which he has prophesied the collapse of artificial secular currency (i.e. paper. plastic and electronic money, etc.):

Abu Bakr bin Abu Maryam reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah say: A time is certainty coming over mankind in which there will be nothing (left) which will be of use (or benefit) save a dinar and a dirham (gold and silver coins).

That prophecy of Prophet Muhammad (s) is about to be fulfilled. Today’s monetary system uses paper to make gold. That is fraudulent! Paper-money is riba. Let us explain.

Suppose your grand-father died in 1971 and left an estate of 100 gold coins which you inherited. And suppose further, that since you wore a baby the money was kept securely stored away for you. Twenty-five years later, in 1996, you asked for your money. The box in which it was stored was opened and you were given the 100 gold coins. Your money had neither increased nor decreased. It remained the same. Gold had functioned successfully as money! It had succeeded in performing one of the most important functions of money, i.e. to be a store of value! It has faithfully performed this function for all of recorded human history.

And now, let us suppose that in 1971 those who were entrusted with the 100 gold coins decided to convert them from real money into artificial money. They fell that paper was a more appropriate and reliable form of money than gold. They were highly impressed by the strength of the American dollar. And they trusted because the American dollar itself proclaimed: In God We Trust. And so they converted the 100 gold coins (i.e. 100 ounces of gold) into American dollars and obtained US$3,500. That was 1971. They put the money away very securely. It could not have been invested because your grandfather had left specific instructions prohibiting such.

In 1996 you asked for your money and they then brought you the American dollars. You declared that you wanted the money which your grand-father had left for you. They then went to the market to reconvert the dollars, to gold and, of course, they continued to believe in the dollars since it declared: In God We Trust. But, to their great surprise, the market gave them only 8 gold coins for the US $3,500. A great tragedy had occurred during those 25 years. 92% of your wealth had been lost. Paper had failed miserably as money. It did not function as a reliable store of value. In fact your low was someone else’s gain. Predators had struck. They had tipped you off by deception. That is riba.

Artificial money is quite different from real money. Real money has intrinsic value, paper money has none. Its only value is that conferred upon it by market forces. The market value of paper-money will last only for as long and to the extent that there is demand for it in the market. Demand is based on confidence. The currency market is now controlled by the most vicious of all speculative forces, forces fueled by compelling greed with no loyalties and no patriotism. Anything which seriously disturbs market confidence will cause the speculative stampede which will fulfill the prophecy of the Prophet (s).

Here is an example: If Muslims gain control over their oil resources and demand that they be paid for their oil sports with gold rather than dollars made of non-redeemable artificial paper money, there will be significant loss of confidence in paper currency. Why should this be so? Non-redeemable paper, plastic or electronic money has value only to the extent that people are prepared to recognize it as possessing value. When public confidence in a currency is shaken, its value will collapse. A demand for gold, as payment for oil, will have the effect of shaking confidence in paper money. Speculative forces in the currency market will greedily seize that opportunity to make the killing of a lifetime. That in turn can cause the collapse of today’s fraudulent international monetary system based on non-redeemable paper money. Money is the very foundation of capital. The collapse of money in what may best be described as a money melt-down, will witness the collapse of riba-based capitalism. Those who have real money will survive while those speculators who successfully exploit the collapse will make the greatest profits ever. The masses will lose their wealth. They will be caught with worthless paper parading as money. That is a financial holocaust which is just waiting to occur. And it has been predicted by others as well, besides the Prophet (s). 

Judy Shelton, for example, uses the term: ‘Money Meltdown’ as the very title of an excellent book which she has written in international monetary economics..

We should not forget, nor allow the world to forget, the dramatic ominous and unprecedented collapse of the US dollar in January 21, 1980, when the value of the dollar relative to gold fell to $850 an ounce! In 1970 it was $35 an ounce. Its present value is about $380 an ounce. This collapse of the dollar look place in the immediate wake of the successful anti-western Islamic revolution in Iran which gave control of the vast oil resources of Iran to an anti-systemic Islamic government. Iran’s government is anti-systemic since It is based on non-secular foundations and it challenges the secular model of society and the political and economic world order produced by modem Godless European secular civilization. The stabilization of the price of gold at its present level is the result of the success of policies were designed to contain the Islamic revolution to Iran.

Why should an Islamic revolution in Iran threaten a collapse of the international monetary' system? The experts in international monetary economics are silent! The predatory speculative forces which precipitated that collapse are even more silent. This is because they are aware of the prophesy of the Prophet (s). They feared that the prophesy was about to be fulfilled. In fact, it was not the moment. It was only the first whiff of smoke from the fire which is coming!

There is perhaps, no other medium through which more of mankind are touched by riba today than through paper currency issued by corrupt unscrupulous governments. Today's paper currency no longer functions as receipts redeemable for gold and silver, i.e., precious metals which were created by Allah, the Most high, to serve as currency (among other things). Paper currency is entirely artificial wealth and as such, is most certainly fraudulent. And fraudulent transactions which damage the entire structure of the free and fair market are a form of riba! It is through the universal prevalence of fraudulent paper currency today (i.e. paper currency which cannot be redeemed for real value) as well as through the fact that tending and borrowing, on interest constitute the very foundation of the capitalist economy which now dominates mankind, that the prophesy of the Prophet (s) regarding riba has now been fulfilled. In fact it has been fulfilled within the lifetime of some who are still alive today:

Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: A time will come over mankind when not a single person will remain who does not consume riba, and if one does not consume it, its vapor (or alternatively its dust) will reach him.

The world of Islam was still largely free of riba and of fraudulent artificial paper currency up to the moment when the Ottoman Caliphate was abolished. The abolition of the Caliphate in 1924, and its replacement with secular nation States all over the Muslim world, opened the floodgates for the wholesale incorporation into the body of the Ummah of all the evils of secular western capitalist economy including the total corruption of the free market. The Islamic Movement will have to take the initiative, wherever it is possible to do so, to try to restore the free market, and this requires the reintroduction of gold and silver coins as the medium of exchange. We should not only recall but also deliberate seriously over the prophecy of the Prophet (s) quoted above:

Miqdam bin Ma’adikarib said that he heard Allah's Messenger say: A time is certainly coming to mankind when only the dinar and the dirham will be of use.

This indicates a prophecy of Prophet Muhammad (s) of truly momentous importance to the effect that the entire monetary system of artificial money in the form of paper, plastic and electronic money will collapse one day. On that day and henceforth all paper currency will be worthless paper.
